This week-long tour is designed to inspire, challenge, and elevate your photography as you explore some of Alberta's most iconic and lesser-known locations in the Rockies.
Itinerary Highlights
Day 1: Welcome to Calgary
Arrival in Calgary: Land at Calgary International Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Evening Meet & Greet: Join your tour leaders and fellow photographers for a warm welcome dinner. Discuss the itinerary, review photography goals, and get inspired for the adventure ahead.
Rest: Overnight stay in Calgary.
Day 2: From Calgary to Canmore
Morning Departure: After breakfast, begin your journey west toward the charming mountain town of Canmore.
Photography Stops Along the Way: We’ll be spending the day in Kananaskis Country
Rest: Overnight stay in Canmore.
Day 3: Journey to Abraham Lake
Morning Exploration: Early morning shoot followed by breakfast.
Travel to Abraham Lake: Witness panoramic views as you drive through Kananaskis Country and along the Icefields Parkway.
First Ice Bubble Shoot: Arrive at Abraham Lake to capture its famed ice bubbles and the surrounding landscape during sunset.
Rest: Overnight stay near Abraham Lake.
Day 4: Ice Bubbles & Winter Wilderness
Daytime Exploration: Return to Abraham Lake for a serene shoot at dawn—experiment with capturing ice textures, reflections, and the rugged beauty of the Rockies.
Rest: Overnight stay near Abraham Lake.
Day 5: To Emerald Lake, Yoho National Park
Travel to Emerald Lake: One of Canada’s most iconic destinations. Stop along the way for scenic views and photo ops.
Evening Arrival at Yoho National Park: Settle into accommodations near Yoho and enjoy a group dinner.
Day 6: Yoho National Park & Winter Wonderland
Emerald Lake Sunrise: Begin the day at Emerald Lake, photographing the tranquil beauty of its surroundings.
Natural Bridge & Beyond: Visit these awe-inspiring locations, showcasing the park’s dramatic winter scenery.
Evening Reflection: Gather with the group for a photo-sharing session to relive the trip's highlights.
Rest: Overnight stay near Yoho National Park.
Day 7: Farewell in Calgary
Morning Return: Journey back to Calgary, stopping for a few last photo opportunities along the way.
Departures: Clients have the option to spend the night in Calgary and return the next day or take a flight out this evening.

How challenging will the hiking be? PLEASE READ, IMPORTANT!
Hiking? Who said anything about hiking? Yes, we will be walking to some locations. The distances are typically no more than 1 km. However, all locations will require walking, possibly in deep snow or ice, including uphill sections. If you have mobility issues, this trip may not be suitable.
